Fall in Ohio can be beautiful with the crisp air, warm apple cider, crunchy leaves, and golden light! And this Family Session with my friends Carrie, Nathan, and the kids was just downright magical! Their family farm was the perfect autumn backdrop to document all the snuggles, kisses, and twirls. The trees had just started to turn brilliant colors of orange, yellow, and red, and we even managed to get one of the last warm days.

I photographed this sweet family about a year and a half ago, just after little Reagan joined the family through adoption. It was such a special, moving session, which you can see more of here. It was so fun to not only compare pictures and see how much the kids have grown in the past year and a half, but also include baby Ruby, who was showing off her big smiles! I can only imagine how many kisses she gets from her brothers and sisters each day!

Seeing these precious kids get bigger is such a reminder of just how fast the time really does fly, and I’m all the more reminded to savor those moments – when they can still fit in your lap, the smile with newly missing teeth, the cute baby voice that can’t pronounce big words, and the sparkle in their eyes when they see you. Thank you Anthony family for inviting me into your home so that these beautiful, crazy, and important memories can be forever remembered!
