Sunrise Family Session

Sunrise Family Session at Isle of Palms, SC

Even though I work hard to plan sessions in advance to ensure the most enjoyable experience for all my clients, I can’t control or predict the weather. Sometimes that means we have to reschedule a session, which is exactly what happened with the Papalia Family. Their session was originally set to take place at sunset, but storms forced us to reschedule for the next morning. However, it all worked out because their sunrise family session at Isle of Palms Beach, SC was a dream! Upon arriving at the beach, we were greeted with the most amazing sunrise featuring cotton candy clouds and vibrant colors that kept changing. It made all the hassle and stress of trying to predict the weather and rescheduling completely worth it!

The morning was filled with joy, laughter, and cherished moments captured in the golden light of dawn. At almost one year old, Baby Joey stole the show. He is learning how to walk and was ready to explore the sandy shores. Joey took wobbly steps along the beach holding his mom’s hands. He is the cutest little guy, and I loved capturing glimpses of his sweet smile and personality throughout the session.

The Papalia family radiated with love and happiness as they explored the beach together. When photographing young families, I love just letting them interact naturally and capturing what unfolds. Their loving bond was evident in the tender moments shared as they laughed, played, and created new family memories while enjoying the salty morning air.

Getting to know the Papalia family was a delight. They are so genuine and kind, which made them a joy to photograph. I am so thankful that they trusted me to capture their family. Even though things didn’t go as originally planned, the session turned out even better than we imagined.
