Ally and Matt tied the knot on a beautiful fall day in November. Their Wingate Place wedding was perfect in every way, starting with the picturesque setting! This stunning venue is located on Johns Island in Charleston, SC. Wingate Place is a lowcountry wedding venue that provides a beautiful setting for any wedding. With its spacious grounds, lush greenery, and tranquil pond, it makes for a romantic wedding backdrop.

Ally and Matt, along with many of their wedding guests, traveled to John’s Island from the Northeast since they live in New Jersey. Their wedding was still filled with Southern charm and a Charleston vibe with their white and light blue wedding colors. Other wedding details that I adored from their day was the beautiful monogram that was featured throughout the day on Ally’s bridal bouquet, cocktail napkins, dinner menus, seating pillows, as well as many other details tying it all together.

Ally was an absolutely stunning bride. I love her wedding dress and the big bow detail in the back! Her wedding bouquet featured a beautiful arrangement of white and light blue flowers. Similar hued flowers appeared on the beautiful chuppah at their outdoor ceremony under the majestic live oaks. The tables at their elegant reception were adorned with flower centerpieces that included lots of full, fluffy flowers, which I love, like hydrangeas!

Before their wedding ceremony, the couple planned a first look. However, before the real one took place there was a faux first look with Matt’s nephew! It was a fun and comical moment. The real first look between the bride and groom happened moments after and it was such a sweet moment between Ally and Matt. We then took advantage of the gorgeous property at Wingate Place for their wedding portraits. I will never grow tired of the beautiful Spanish Moss draping from the old Oak Trees. It creates such a romantic atmosphere!

Ally and Matt’s wedding ceremony under the chuppah incorporated Matt’s Jewish heritage. The couple also did the traditional Jewish horah dance at their reception, where the couple was lifted up on chairs in the middle of the dance floor. I love that they infused this important aspect of Matt’s heritage into their special day.

Once the couple were officially husband and wife, they began their celebration with a cocktail hour under the Spanish moss covered trees and twinkling lights. The mobile bar was parked under the trees and featured signature drinks named after their dogs, Piper and Riley.

As the dance floor opened for the evening, Ally was one of the first ones out there and one of the last ones to leave! She loves to dance and kept the party going all evening. I’m not sure if I’ve seen a bride dance without taking breaks! I absolutely loved her energy and it created such a fun atmosphere for the wedding night! We did take a break from the dancing to enjoy late night donuts before sending the newlyweds off with an epic sparkler exit under the Spanish moss. It was truly a dream wedding from start to finish!
