I’m so excited to share Andrew and Michelle’s wedding with you! I met them over hot chocolate a few months ago and fell in love with their story. Even though their families have known each other for years, they didn’t actually start dating until a year ago when her sister married one of his best friends and mutual friends determined to set them up! And despite Michelle and Andrew’s best efforts to prove their friends wrong, they quickly hit it off and spent over 5 hours together on their first date because they didn’t want to stop talking. Michelle said, “When it’s right, you just know!”

They were surrounded by their friends and family on their wedding day in their home church in Cedarville, Ohio. It may have been the hottest day of the summer, but the sunlight shone through the beautiful stained glass windows while they said their vows and shared their first kiss as husband and wife. There were so many special touches – the handmade wooden unity cross that Andrew crafted, the floral bouquets made by Michelle and her bridesmaids, and the delicious champagne cupcakes that quickly disappeared. Michelle and Andrew played the Shoe Game, and even though there were plenty of laughs, it was clear that they were so connected and in step with each other.

We ended with Portraits at the Cedarville park and waterfall, which is a special place for Michelle and Andrew. Most of their evening walks through their small town include this spot, so it was fitting that we get pictures here!

Michelle and Andrew, thank you for trusting me to capture one of the most important and special days of your lives! It was truly an honor, and I just know this next chapter of marriage is going to be amazing!
