When my friend, Leigh, asked me to take pictures of their new family of six, I was beyond excited to capture this special time in their lives. It doesn’t matter how many kids you already have, bringing a baby home is such a wonderful, crazy, exhausting, and memorable time. I remember with my babies, there were nights that seemed like they would never end and that I didn’t think I could be more tired. But looking back, I’d do anything to experience that time again – feel their tiny curled up bodies on my chest, hear their squeaky sounds, and kiss their itty, bitty fingers and toes. Thankfully pictures give us a better chance to remember those things, even when our sleep deprived memories struggle. And sweet Claire will be able to look back and see how much she was loved!
