Cassie and Drew | Rosewood Manor Wedding

While the year 2020 has brought some crazy times, photographing Cassie and Drew’s Dayton wedding will definitely be one of the best highlights!! We had the most beautiful summer day with blue skies, puffy white clouds, and a cool breeze. Cassie and Drew chose a soft color palette with lavender, greenery, and light grey. This soothing combination was perfect for the Southern vibe of Rosewood Manor in Dayton. The big double porches, grand staircase, and beautiful chandeliers were elegant but also inviting for all the guests.

The ceremony was held on Rosewood Manor’s back patio, surrounded by blooming rose bushes, swaying trees, and a bubbling creek nearby. Cassie and Drew said their vows and shared their first kiss under the beautifully decorated pergola amidst lots of cheers and tears. I also love how they combined water and soil to plant their own tree. I can only imagine how that little plant will grow and look in another 5, 10, or 20 years!

One of my favorite parts of the day, though, was when they saw each other for the first time! There was something so incredibly special about the moment their eyes met, and they both beamed with so much joy! Cassie and Drew chose to read special vows to each other during this time of just the two of them! Then, Cassie gave Drew special pins with pictures of his late grandparents to wear in his coat jacket. These pins matched the pins on Cassie’s bouquet of her late step mother and grandparents, and they carried their memories with them through out the day!

The evening ended with an incredible dance party and an epic sparkler exit! Cassie and Drew, thank you for choosing me to celebrate with you and capture your wedding day to remember for years to come!
