Nature inspired Charleston Engagement

I loved getting to photograph Lauren and Bradford for their nature inspired Charleston Engagement! They has developed a love for nature and wildlife photography together, particularly bird photography. When discussing locations for their Engagement session, Boone Hall Plantation was at the top of the list. There are plenty of beautiful settings and spots that are perfect for pictures, especially for those who love nature!

Boone Hall Plantation is known for their epic avenue of live oak trees dripping with Spanish moss. In the distance horses can be seen wandering through the fields, and if you gaze upwards, you’ll spot eagles’ nests up in the trees. It is the perfect venue for nature and wildlife lovers alike!

Their Story

The couple met at their favorite bar/music venue The Commodore in downtown Charleston. Bradford later proposed when they were on a trip to Jackson Hole, WY! They were at a crowded restaurant when he got down on one knee and proposed in the middle of the restaurant. Lauren fondly remembers how everyone around them clapped and celebrated along with them. They were even treated to celebratory drinks! It sounds like a scene straight from a romantic movie!

Lauren and Bradford were so sweet together and you could feel their love for one another throughout their Charleston Engagement session. I loved watching them make each other laugh! I shouldn’t be surprised, however, as when I asked them what their favorite thing about each other was, they said that they make each other laugh constantly and always support one another in good times and bad! “We’re each other’s #1 fan.” I love their answers! It was definitely easy to see how great these two are together!
