Maddie and Matthew’s Engagement Session at Cox Arboretum in Dayton was amazing! When the stars align with cool August weather, dreamy light, and a sweet couple, it’s so fun to create memories and beautiful pictures! As a musician, I love how Maddie and Matthew met! They were both at a country music concert. She was celebrating her birthday, and he happened to be sitting in the row in front of her. They shared a drink and phone numbers, and started dating soon after that. Their wedding is going to be in Tennessee next summer, which hints at how they first met, so I loved how they incorporated flannel shirts and boots into their session. Although I’m also obsessed with her creamy, lace dress and heels – so gorgeous! I am so excited for their marriage and next phase in life. Maddie says that she still gets the butterflies when Matthew looks at her, and he loves to see her smile and hear her laugh. “Knowing she is happy means everything to me” – so sweet, right?!
