Logan and Sam’s wedding at Hotel Emeline was incredible! Just steps from the Historic Charleston City Market and horse drawn carriages going by, Hotel Emeline is a new wedding venue, and everything about it was gorgeous. The hotel was recently renovated and was nominated for Travel + Leisure’s 2021 World’s Best Awards! How amazing is that?! It’s a charming hotel to not only stay at but also get married.
The ceremony took place in the open-air courtyard in front of a brick fireplace. They decked it out with a floral arrangement that made for a perfect backdrop for them to say their I do’s. The courtyard even has cafe lights that bring a romantic feeling in the air and lush garden accents. Then the reception took place in the hotel’s beautiful ballroom.
Logan and Sam and many of their friends and family traveled from Charlotte, North Carolina, for their wedding day. They absolutely love the beauty and charm that Charleston has to offer, so they decided to get married here! It was memorable having all of their friends and family here to celebrate this big day with them.
Before the ceremony, they decided to do a First Touch. I placed them back to back where they were able to hold hands and talk with each other. It was so sweet to see them read their wedding day letters to each other. They both decided while they were standing back to back to do a quick shot of their favorite drink to calm their nerves before the wedding! Such a fun way to get the wedding day started.
Their newly wed portraits are some of my favorites! We explored the historic streets of Charleston in a 1961 Rolls Royce! So classy, and their portraits were dreamy! They danced the night away and had such a fun time at their reception. To top it all off, they ended their magical wedding day with a sparkler exit!
