Charleston quickly won my heart with its pastel houses, Spanish moss, and cobblestone streets, and I loved getting to meet Ashley, Matt, and their three girls at Waterfront Park. I was amazed that this downtown park was just steps from the bustling city life as well as the ocean. It had incredible views of the water, and we watched birds, airplanes, and sailboats go by through out the session. It’s also home to the famous Pineapple Fountain, a symbol of Southern hospitality and definitely a favorite way for kids to cool off in the hot summer! I had so much fun strolling through the tree covered pathways, capturing the girls twirl in their dresses, seeing the girls snuggle with their parents, and watching the sky turn to pastels as the sun set – I can’t imagine a better way to end a family session! Ashley and Kirk – thank you for sharing your beautiful city with me for this Family Session in Charleston!!
