I’m not sure if there is anything else better than photographing sweet little babies! There is just something so sweet and special about capturing their tiny little features and adorable expressions. Needless to say, I was thrilled when Laura reached out to me to capture this sweet little guy and the rest of the family for their In-Home Newborn + Family Session. I had the honor of photographing the Browning Family in the fall just after Laura found out she was pregnant, so it was extra special to see the family now, meet sweet little Fitz, and witness Sullivan be a big sister!

In-Home Newborn + Family Session

The best part of in-home sessions is being able to capture the organic moments between a family in the comfort of their own home. Life is stressful enough with a newborn! In-home sessions remove a bit of that stress since everything you need for your baby and their other siblings is within reach. I love that I can offer my clients a relaxing, less-stress experience! In-home sessions are also great because family pets can easily get in on the action too! Their family dog, an adorable mini goldendoodle, is the cutest and the best behaved pup! He snuggled up with the family in a lot of photos and didn’t even mind when Fitz used him as a pillow!

Another reason I love in-home newborn and family sessions is being able to see and document the nursery! I love seeing the different decorations and themes. Fitz’s nursery was decorated in soft neutrals. Mom had a special corner of the room where the cozy rocker sits. They had other special touches throughout his room, such as the book “Goodnight Charleston,” which they read together as a family. It was such a beautiful moment seeing all four of them curled up together reading.

Laura and Steve, I know that life with a newborn and toddler can be tiring and chaotic, but the sweet snuggles and kisses are so worth it! You all are adjusting as a new family of four so beautifully! Thank you for allowing me to capture your beautiful family and these precious memories for you all.
