On the tranquil beaches of Isle of Palms, South Carolina, I captured Kaylie and Sam’s elopement portraits. They traded the grandeur of a big wedding, choosing instead to travel to Charleston for a small, intimate elopement. They wanted the focus of their big day to be solely on the two of them, their love, connection, and cherished relationship. I love that this beautiful couple decided to do something different and what felt right to them. Their intimate beach elopement at Isle of Palms was perfect in every way.

We met at the beach to capture pictures at sunset. It was SO windy – probably one of the windiest days I’ve experienced on the beach! However, we made it work and the newlyweds embraced the romance and cinematic look the wind movement gave to Kaylie’s dress and hair – the results were epic! I loved the way Kaylie’s dress flowed in the wind, trailing behind her. The stunning bride carried a classic, white flower bridal bouquet. She also had a fun pair of shoes that she personalized with her new name, Mrs. Chastain, as well as her and Sam’s initials on the heel.

Kaylie and Sam’s elopement was not just about the union of two individuals but a celebration of love. Throughout the session, their chemistry was undeniable, as their love for one another was visible in every image.
