Capturing Betsy and Kelsey’s Folly Beach Engagement Session was so much fun! Their seaside session was a memorable one, as Kelsey proposed to Betsy in front of the Morris Island lighthouse here at Folly Beach in South Carolina. I loved that we were able to revisit the very place their proposal took place and capture the two of them, along with their new pup, Millie!
Folly Beach Engagement Session
Millie was such a sweetheart! She joined in at the beginning of the session and was one of the best behaved dogs I’ve seen! I like to think she was really smiling in the photos, because she definitely looks very happy!
We then adventured out to the Lighthouse Inlet Heritage Preserve! The view here is breathtaking! We were treated to magnificent ocean and lighthouse views! Since this area is more secluded than other parts of the beach, we had more space to ourselves. The setting was romantic and perfect for these two!
Some of the best parts of this beach are the rocks and driftwood! The downed trees provided a great spot for Betsy and Kelsey to sit for a few photos as the ocean rolled in behind them. If you sit there long enough, you might be lucky enough to spot a pod of dolphins in the distance!
Betsy and Kelsey are such a sweet, laid back couple! It was such a joy to get to know them and capture their engagement photos at a place that holds so much meaning to them! They will tie the knot at Wachesaw Plantation Club! I am so excited for them and can’t wait to capture and celebrate their big day! Until then enjoy a few of my favorites from their Folly Beach Engagement Session!
