I can’t think of many more romantic places to have a proposal than under the Spanish moss covered live oak trees at the historic Magnolia Plantation and Gardens in Charleston, South Carolina!

When Harrison contacted me with his plan to propose to Esther, I couldn’t have been more excited to help document this special moment for the two of them! From the rose petals and fizzy champagne to the tearful “YES!” and sparkly ring, it was an absolute dream! It had actually been raining on and off all day long, and I was a little concerned about how it would all turn out in the rain. However, just minutes before Harrison and Esther strolled up to the rose petal covered spot, the rain cleared, and I could put away my stash of umbrellas I always keep in my car just in case! Harrison got down on one knee and surprised Esther with the most stunning ring! She, of course, said yes, and they popped a bottle of champagne to celebrate!

I had so much fun getting to know both Harrison and Esther while we strolled through the gorgeous gardens at Magnolia! They danced under the oak trees, kissed on the iconic white bridge, and even spotted the colorful peacocks that roam the gardens! Harrison and Esther are the perfect match for each other, and it was such an honor to get to share in such a special moment! Harrison and Esther, congratulations on your engagement! I can’t wait to see where life takes you both together!!
