It brings me so much joy to share Kaela and Justin’s beautiful waterfront Harborside East wedding! Kaela and Justin have been anticipating and planning this wedding for YEARS. Yes, you read that right! They, like so many other couples, had to reschedule and postpone their big day due to the global pandemic. As sad as it was at the moment, I think Kaela and Justin’s beautiful wedding was worth the wait! Everything was absolutely perfect!
The bride and groom poured their hearts and energy into their magical day. Kaela even hand painted the oyster shell guest favors along with their custom koozies. In addition to the wedding details, they also incorporated many meaningful items into their day. Kaela’s ring was made from her grandmother’s diamonds, and Justin’s ring belonged to his grandfather. How special and sweet is that?! Kaela’s wedding bouquet was wrapped in her late uncle’s dress shirt and embroidered with his initials. The couple also had a generations table that featured pictures of their parents and grandparents on their wedding days, which was a beautiful tribute to their family. Kaela and Justin both value and honor family, and it shows in all the ways they incorporated their family throughout their day.
Harborside East Wedding
Their wedding took place outside at the stunning waterside wedding venue, Harborside East. The weather was clear, calm, and perfect for their spring wedding day! Harborside East provides incredible views of the Charleston skyline, as well as ships sailing across the Charleston harbor, and the amazing Ravenel Bridge! Their wedding ceremony faced the harbor with palm trees lining the background and the cityscape just beyond. The breathtaking views mixed with the light harbor breeze created a relaxing and calming ceremony! Justin’s dad made the wooden arbor for the ceremony that had their names and wedding date carved into the center.
After their perfect wedding, the couple went on to celebrate with all their family and friends! They even had a special send off with glow sticks during their wedding exit! It was the perfect ending to their magical, and long-awaited wedding day!
Kaela and Justin are the sweetest and it has been a joy and honor to get to know them the past few years! I am so excited for this next chapter for them! I’m thrilled that they are locals to the area, and I can’t wait to see them again! Congratulations, Kaela and Justin
