Sami and Adam | Wedding at Historic Rice Mill in Charleston

Sami and Adam’s spring wedding at Historic Rice Mill in Charleston was so beautiful! This wedding venue is very historic, as it was the largest of three rice mills here in Charleston in the 19th century. Out of the three mills, it is the only one still standing and sits right on the waterfront located in the heart of downtown Charleston. The Historic Rice Mill has exposed brick, gorgeous wood floors, and a stunning view of the sun setting over the water.

Before their ceremony, Sami wanted to have a first look with her son, Ashton. Sami looked absolutely beautiful. Ashton had the biggest smile on his face when he saw his mom! It was such a sweet moment between the two of them.

Named as one of the most epic waterfront wedding venues in Charleston, The Historic Rice Mill has spectacular water views, which gave Adam and Sami the perfect backdrop for their ceremony. They had their ceremony outside on the patio facing the water and the sailboats.

They had their reception inside with lively music and dancing. It was such a fun dance party! Sami, Adam, and all their friends and family love to dance and have a fun time, and that’s precisely what they did. There was even a surprise appearance by some panda bears and confetti cannons. One of the sweetest moments during the reception was when Sami shared a first dance with her son Ashton. There wasn’t a dry eye in the room!

We had the perfect glowing sunset that night, and we grabbed breathtaking sunset portraits! We took them on the marsh, and there was a breeze that just made her veil flow perfectly. The water and sailboats behind them made these pictures so enchanting, like something out of a movie!

It was such a perfect relaxed day for Sami and Adam! I am so grateful that I was able to be part of their wedding at Historic Rice Mill!
