Sibel and JK’s dreamy Charleston engagement session was nothing short of magical! As a couple who lives in New York City, they’ll be tying the knot in early 2025 at Lowndes Grove—one of my absolute favorite South Carolina venues. While they were visiting Charleston, we took the opportunity to capture their engagement photos in Downtown Charleston and the gorgeous property of Boone Hall.

Romantic Downtown Charleston Engagement

We kicked off their session in the heart of downtown Charleston. We wanted to capture the quintessential Charleston look and Southern charm. As luck would have it, we stumbled upon a church gate along the sidewalk that featured stunning floral arrangements still hanging from a previous event. The blue and white hydrangeas were a perfect match for Sibel and JK’s outfits, as she wore a beautiful long-sleeved white dress and he wore a light blue suit jacket with light tan pants. It was so perfect and felt meant to be!

Boone Hall Engagement Photos

After a quick outfit change, we made our way to Boone Hall Plantation, where the majestic Avenue of Oaks awaited us. The Spanish moss-draped trees created an ethereal, timeless setting, exactly what Sibel and JK envisioned for their session. Their neutral-toned outfits blended effortlessly with the natural beauty surrounding them, creating a soft, elegant, and dreamy aesthetic. Simply gorgeous!

Their Love Story

Sibel and JK’s love story began in the Florida Keys, where they met through mutual friends at a get-together. Their journey together led to a heartfelt proposal in Washington Heights, where JK got down on one knee under a trestle in Sibel’s childhood park. Now, this beautiful couple is preparing for their big day!
